Our farm staff, participants, and volunteers work hard to keep our 3-acre farm looking beautiful and plentiful throughout the growing season. We grow a wide variety of vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers, which are used in our farm-to-table culinary arts classes and donated to local food security organizations.

Veteran Farm + Wellness Program

The EquiCenter Farm is providing Therapeutic Horticulture programs for veterans, in partnership with the Canandaigua VA Medical Center.  EquiCenter is proud to be contracted as one of the first such therapeutic horticulture partnerships in the country!

Participants in this program meet weekly at EquiCenter for classes. Each session includes group discussion, hands-on instruction, farm-to-table cooking class, and community lunch.

Find our current class and workshop offerings on the Horticulture Programs page.  While some programs are open to the public, all Horticulture Programs are FREE for veterans.

Volunteer

We are always looking for help in the field, greenhouse, maple stand, and apiary and with horticulture programs! During the active farming season, our farmers host volunteer shifts every week.  Check out our Farm Volunteers page to learn more and sign up for an upcoming shift!

Groups in the Farm

The EquiCenter farm provides a unique learning experience for field trips and groups. Our farmers can tailor programming for all ages and abilities to learn about growing healthy food! Special field trip opportunities are available for Maple Syrup Production, Intro to Beekeeping, and Honey Spinning on a seasonal basis.
