Cindy started volunteering at EquiCenter three years ago when her youngest son was leaving for college. She was looking for ways to volunteer and help our community.
Excited about the opportunity to work with horses after a 25-year hiatus from her hunter/jumper days as a Junior rider in Philadelphia, Cindy started as a side walker and is now a leader. She loves working with the horses, students, and staff and has learned so much from her EquiCenter family. She feels “so lucky to spend time with so many knowledgeable people who are so giving of their time and expertise!”
Since starting at EquiCenter, she has started riding again. She is training her OTTB Bear in Dressage, which is new to both, but they are loving the challenge!
When Cindy’s not around the barn, you’ll find her spending time with her husband Pete, her three sons, Andrew, Jonathan, and Michael, and her two Labrador retrievers, Lloyd and Walter.
Fun fact – Cindy’s grandfather was in the U.S. Calvary!
